Crimes Against Property Unit
The crime against property unit is mandated to investigate and prosecute crime related properties included movable and immovable properties, burglary, auto theft, criminal damage to property, fraud, embezzlement, false documentation and forgery cases, as well crimes involving destructions of property, property obtained by fraud of misappropriation, and crimes related to possession, sale or concealment of stolen property.
The crime against property unit is responsible to prevent, supervise and provide guidance and training to the law enforcement agencies during investigation of crimes against property, key responsibility of the unit included to raise public awareness on the negative implication that crimes against property can inflict on national developments.
The crime against Property prosecution unit works proactively within the community and other government entities in an effort to successfully curb crimes property.
The crime against property prosecution unit performs their duties according to the guidelines prescribed by the Attorney General.
The crimes against property prosecution unit is headed by highly qualified, competent and experienced prosecutor together with other prominent prosecutors including female prosecutor, prosecution officers and paralegals who support the unit.
