The charge drafting section is responsible to support the assigned prosecutors for drafting indictments in accordance with Article 71 of Criminal Procedure Code.
The goal of this section is to draft plain, concise, and definite statement that contains sufficient details to adequately acquaint the defendant of the nature of the charges against him/her and to present it before a competent court.
In addition to that, this section advises the assigned prosecutor about the documents and information relating to the indictment.
This section is headed by a prosecutor, and its team comprises of prosecutors skilled in drafting and reviewing legal documents, as well as paralegals and prosecution officers.
This section is equipped with all materials necessary for drafting, reviewing, and printing legal documents.
