The Attorney General Office organizes every year national annual conference for Somali prosecutors which focuses on enforcing the rule of law, improving office functions, debating key issues, upholding legal framework of criminal justice system, and presenting legal researches developed by AGO legal research department.
The aim of the national conference is to discuss office achievements, challenges, setting the upcoming year strategic plan, promote cooperation between federal Attorney General Office and State level Attorney General Offices, exchanging experiences and share information, as well strengthening the prosecutor’s strategic role within the justice, and to reform and restore trust in the Justice sector and delivery of Justice.
The last 4th annual conference for Somali prosecutor’s event have participated Chief Justice, Attorney General, Minister of Justice, Somali Police force, prosecutors from federal and state level, International Organizations, USA ambassador and other high-ranking government officials.
