The police investigation directions section is aimed to direct the investigations and suppression of crimes carried out by the police to ensure that all the information and evidence required for the trial is collected properly and the police investigation report contains the provisions enshrined in Article 26 of the Criminal procedure code.
This section similarly ensures that the police officers conducting the criminal investigation are incompliance with the constitution, other laws, and international human rights standards.
This section is headed by a prosecutor, and it comprises of members experienced in criminal investigation and well trained on investigation techniques and skills.
